1:1 is an accessible method to create photograms whilst playing with transparency and the influence of light. The method limits a designer to a 1:1 scale and therefore requires time and craftmanship. Besides, the outcome will always be unexpected and shows the characteristics and textures of the composition that is being made.
The method provides a publication which includes five categories that show how photograms can be applicable within the field of graphic design: scale, graphics, contrast, typography and texture.
